Our History
Our building was originally built in 1941 as the home of Calvary Baptist Church. It has housed several groups over the years. The building was acquired and restorations were completed to make it the home of New City Fellowship in 2014.
New City Fellowship is a biblically Reformed church, planted in the spring of 2014 by Harvest Orthodox Presbyterian Church. NCF became a particular (independent from the planting church) congregation of the OPC in June 2017.Our location near the corner of Burton and Eastern allows us to serve three converging cultures: white communities to the south, black neighborhoods to the north, and a quickly increasing number of Latino people to the west.
On December 3, 2023, New City Fellowship became a church independent of the Orthodox Presbyterian denomination. We are currently an independent presbyterian church.
